I can’t imagine firing off a tweet about someone and getting an email from them minutes later, no matter who they are.

One thing that speaks well of Hardiman (a judge I had almost zero information on previously) is that he read your blog and was able to see immediately that you were a person of uncommon substance. I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, and I don’t agree with you on everything. But you have an incredibly rare ability to take yourself outside a situation, remove what you WANT from your calculations, and evaluate it objectively on principle and merit. This is a quality that not only few people have, but many more don’t even think is valuable. It reflects well on Hardiman that he was able to see this from a few minutes look at your blog. I, for the life of me, can’t understand why you aren’t a national figure. Don’t let it go to your head though. 😉
